Davanti has bolstered its UK logistics infrastructure to support the rapidly growing network of Davanti distributors. Having commissioned a fleet of brand new vehicles, two 40ft artic trucks and two 7.5t trucks were recently added to the Davanti distribution network. The fleet will provide a nationwide support stock service to Davanti regional distributors, backing up supply direct from the factory.
“It’s imperative that Davanti Performance Centres experience exceptional fill-rates from regional distributors,” said Davanti vice general manager, Wilson Zhang. “We want our customers to be able to access the full Davanti size range on a same-day basis offering this level of service UK-wide is the rationale behind our latest investment in the new fleet.”
Meanwhile the company has launched its second generation DX440 and DX420 tires. The DX740 designed for SUV applications, has a tread pattern featuring four longitudinal deep grooves that provide drainage, while the inner block section works in conjunction with the outer-inside block section to dissipate water out of the central grooves and away from the contact zone. The outer block section contains U-shaped grooves, which work to both contain noise dissipation and provide grip in extremely muddy conditions.
In contrast, the DX240 is designed for smaller passenger cars. Its tread features three longitudinal grooves, which channel water away from the contact area and provide drainage channels for safe wet weather driving. The inner shoulder area contains open sipes to disperse water in wet conditions, while the angular bend in the outer shoulder helps to reduce resonance for a quiet drive. The outer shoulder consists of a contained horizontal groove to provide a progressive drive with high levels of grip when cornering.
